After the last round, we'll be at 91 games. That's about a third of the whole catalog. Probably the worthwhile games too lol.

Though there are a few I did play and enjoy as a kid, but it's probably all nostalgia. Thinking back, one of them for sure was kind of horrible lol. At the time it was neat.

Cruis'n USA was the last game on my desperation list, but if Dr. Mario was taken I probably would've went back to the Wikipedia list to find something like Starcraft for the sake of variety.
Cruis'n USA on the N64 is hot garbage, IMO. I would have gone with Exotica instead.

Yeah I remember not being a fan of it. The Cruis'n games were pretty meh overall when I went back to them. And I had barely remembered that Exotica existed until yesterday, so I wasn't sure if people would like it. It looks pretty cool in screenshots, though. I feel like I've maybe played it in an arcade once or twice.

Ridge Racer 64 also went unclaimed, that was the only first-party game that saw a western release left
This and Wipeout 64 are surprising releases because both are primarily known as Playstation franchises. Hell, Wipeout was developed by a developer owned by Sony, but Wipeout actually started on the Saturn.

I played the fuck out of Exotica in the movie theater arcades that always had it and House of the Dead 2.

Yes, I do agree that the PC version is better than the n64 port. But something about playing an RTS on a console back in those days (when such a thing almost didn't even exist at the time), and doing it as split screen multiplayer, was fun for me.

Starcraft 64
I almost picked this with my last selection. The novelty of an RTS port on the N64 and the fact that they actually put the whole game and the Brood War expansion on it. And it would have given seven games in seven different genres. Ultimately I didn't pick it because I never played the N64 version (I already had the PC version when the port came out), and from what I've read, the framerate gets pretty bad when there's too much on the screen.

The RTS game I did have on N64 was probably the only other one on the system: Command and Conquer. It was actually the first RTS game I owned, as it came out a little before we got our first home PC. I actually enjoyed it and played it quite a bit.

I had the PS1 version with a mouse because my dad didn't want me using the PC.

One game I had bought as a present at some point, just because it looked neat in the local game store, was Chameleon Twist. Very average adventure game, but there was some neat things with it. Definitely nostalgia for me for that.

Carmageddon and A Bugs Life both are games I played in PS1 I believe. Both kind of fun. Carmageddon maybe more so as mindless entertainment. I still find it funny how media outlets had criticized it being overly brutal at the time. Oh, Gex: Enter the Gecko I had for PS1 as well. Kind of a difficult platformer, but the references in the game were amusing.

I loved the game. Supposedly many didn't as it was a subpar PC port and all the N64 anti-aliasing crap made it worse.

I still liked the game and messing around with the Porkinator item/spell.
It was a great one to battle it out on with your siblings. Had the split screen action and such. Also it allowed for co-op mode. That alone made it great as the youngest, gave me more game time.

Oh definitely. I actually beat the game and expansion single players on the 64

100%. Me and a friend of mine played it quite a bit together, though mainly multiplayer. There was surprising amount of depth thanks to all the assorted items in it, even if each character only had 4 weapons.

What I remember liking a lot about the game was that there were quite a few ways to beat each of the levels. And plenty of secret areas for loot. Like instantly in the first area on the first level had one or two things to get.

Loved Hydro Thunder, but I have better memories with this at the arcade. That throttle was so sick.
I fucking loved playing Hydro Thunder at the arcade. Dreamcast is a close second, but the N64 version is definitely competent and one of the better racing games on the console, even if it's lacking in modes.
