I've been in enough internet arguments to know that when mockery is being employed, there's some truth being covered up.The wolves are going to lie and the town needs to preserve themselves.
@Zell 17 can you save time and post everyone’s roles? Then we can have a competition to see how kills off the other side first. Do the wolves kill the ritualist or the tough guy first? Or do the start with the roles not worth protecting
Why would you want me to out my specific role just yet? I already said there's no benefit to doing it today. You're just reaching because you need to know exactly whether I'm worth the kill tonight.why is it, th at every time someone in a wolf game lays out a grand plan involving forcing others to role claim, they're afraid to put their money where their mouth is.
why can't you just tell us right now?
If we don't know their role/role type, then we can't know where to look next. If we divide the town into role types, we know whether a guaranteed or random role was eliminated, and it can help to inform our decisions.I mean, that would also happen due to the fact that a person is dead
Missed it, I love you <3@Smacktard you drip i said i was guaranteed IMMEDIATELY stop being mean to me
I'm on board with that Top 2My top 3 suspects before I go to sleep: Kelly, local, Kat
Funny how you can use your logic when it suits your narrative. Still pretty hackeneyed logic, but better than what you've been saying so far.Kelly, TD raised a good point, well, sort of.
may be you ARE the fan. maybe you are being so aggressive because you wanna be checked. you'll read as good and let everyone think you're trust worthy.
then you claim an unverifiable role, (I'd choose librarian), and be pretty smooth sailing from there.
meanwhile, getting guaranteed roles to put themselves and be targets for wolf strike instead of you.
hell, potential berseker and you could set up a double kill.
To be clear, I'm NOT suggesting we out those two roles, because that would be stupid. I was saying your plan doesn't work unless they're outed, which we don't want. Yeah they may get revealed by using their ability, or maybe they'll get killed and covered up by the confusion wolf. Which is easier for the wolves to do if we narrow down who has a guaranteed role.I get where you're coming from, but that wouldn't be a good idea because ritualist and marksman are important roles. As the game develops, these roles will be revealed naturally, and help us home in on the wolves further.
The plan does work though. It forces baddies to choose whether they are guaranteed or random. As people are eliminated, it helps us decide which category is better to lynch from.I was saying your plan doesn't work unless they're outed, which we don't want
I got sidetracked by Kelly and keeping up with new posts, but wanted to come back to this. I'm happy too! Now I can save creating that hit list for another day.Yay @Kat you're alive!
I am making it easy. The townies not cooperating aren't making it easy.Same, but you're not making it easy!
One of the people who haven't claimed a role type yet is my guess.who do you think the wolves are going to kill overnight
Probably Kit, Tommy Boy or Rainewho do you think the wolves are going to kill overnight
Tommy reacted to my posts but never posted. SUSTommy is a wolf for sure, I can hear the discomfort from here. Honestly, if you have a day time killing power, just use it on him now.
People who are normally quite logical arguing against a strategy which I believe to be the town's most logical shot at success -- especially so if they use faulty logic@Smacktard what were the criteria for your Sus list given everyone hadn't posted
Did you feel any of the return arguments as to why people didn't want to follow your plan had any merit?People who are normally quite logical arguing against a strategy which I believe to be the town's most logical shot at success -- especially so if they use faulty logic
It doesn't exonerate people who already have their role type, but it's my best hunch to go on for now.
Kat's felt the most genuine of them all, but the only way we are going to be able to target a baddie is if people start role claiming, otherwise we're shooting at the hip -- and in a game where we can't afford to, at that.Did you feel any of the return arguments as to why people didn't want to follow your plan had any merit?
To be fair, I don't have strong feelings either way I'm just taking the opportunity to understand your thoughts while we are both here before the others get back and the chaos restartsKat's felt the most genuine of them all, but the only way we are going to be able to target a baddie is if people start role claiming, otherwise we're shooting at the hip -- and in a game where we can't afford to, at that.
I gave a way to claim without saying your specific role, and suddenly in a game where there are at least 3 or 4 people who role claim a specific role day 1, there's a huge bloc of people unwilling to help the town narrow down leads and are trying to mount a lynch against me while admitting I am likely a townie? Seems sus.
If you really think I'm sus, wait until day 2 and feel free to lynch me all you want.
I meant "you" in the general sense, not specifically. To be fair, I don't have strong feelings either way I'm just taking the opportunity to understand your thoughts while we are both here before the others get back and the chaos restarts
I just registered yesterday, you should still have it on fileRole and registration please
Voting Tubby for giving me the lazy eye.Don't you eyeball me Tubby me and my good friend number 12 will come at you like a spider monkey
I should find the numbers list I guess and figure out who that is
oh well would you look at that, it's me.A dozen. Good. Eggs.
Dozen good that is all bye
I'm guessing this means you're a guaranteed role. I'll put you down as such.A dozen. Good. Eggs.
Dozen good that is all bye

So an aggressive move out of the gate to force the wolves to kill you so you can join them.oh well would you look at that, it's me.

Could also be the wolves/sorcerer saying I'm good because they know I'm not a wolfie, but that would be a gamble if I were neutral. So an aggressive move out of the gate to force the wolves to kill you so you can join them.
It's a nice play.
It seems too obviousSo an aggressive move out of the gate to force the wolves to kill you so you can join them.
It's a nice play.
Also if I were a wolf, I would be discouraging people from these soft claims and either encouraging strong claims or no claims so that I can benefit from the confusion wolf + lack of town info... which is exactly what the wolves are doing. So an aggressive move out of the gate to force the wolves to kill you so you can join them.
It's a nice play.
