I'm 98% sure I played the game on PS2, though I can't recall shit about it specifically that I'm not conflating with the show. 2008 was a while ago.

I admit I recognized the character/style from the show before I remembered it had a game, though.

The soundtrack to that game continually plays on repeat in some corner of my brain.

Same baby is near the start in the mall level, no? Just a few levels into the game.

The Titanic Toddler doesn't show up until level 8, then again in the bonus stage of 22, and finally in the mall on level 25.

It's the first boss, and not as far in as I thought I guess.

For real. Game was hard at some points.

If I recall, it had level passwords though, so you didn't have to start over from the beginning level every single time.

Vash's is Dragon Age: Origins.

I thought so, just from the look, but I couldn't recognize any of the character portraits. That's not what I recalled Morrigan/Alistair looking like. Been a while though.

I didn't either, but the GUI was recognisable enough as it's one of the few RPGs of that style that I've actually played.

Yep but the passwords started you off with a useless weapon, meaning if you wanted to clear the game, you'd pretty much have to start from LVL 1

Must be. I loved that game. The machine gun in the screenshot was an absolute menace. Though you couldn't beat just throwing knives at enemy's faces.

I was quite impressed with the Dreamcast port. Despite excessively long load times and a controller set up that takes some time to learn, its a solid port.
