Who asked not to be tagged? From context, I assume you are referring to @Ants! , but I don’t recall seeing him ask to not be tagged. I know someone whose name rhymes with moleman asked to not be taggedI know we all joke around, but when people specifically ask to NOT be tagged, can we maybe NOT tag them immediately after?
I've stated before that I'll never have anything against being tagged lolI know we all joke around, but when people specifically ask to NOT be tagged, can we maybe NOT tag them immediately after?
That's fair, I misread your post. But we've seen it with pretty much everyone whose left a wolf game. Ask not to be tagged, then immediately tagged.I've stated before that I'll never have anything against being tagged lol
That's the difference between me and them:That's fair, I misread your post. But we've seen it with pretty much everyone whose left a wolf game. Ask not to be tagged, then immediately tagged.
It was a generalized statement more than anything.

You're good, buddy.Guess I'll shut up then.
I don't get why people are totally fine with being a wolf and betraying the town, but being coupled is a bridge too far. I like that you can be certain of almost nothing.Or just remove the roles like cupid like roles, that change someone else's win condition, in favor of something new?Maybe if more than one wolf picks alpha you roll between them and have the rest pick other roles?
It's not, I just think in the context of a game where absolutely everyone gets to pick a role as freely as possible, I think ones that would affect someone else's win conditions complicates the ability to distribute roles anywhere near fairly.I don't get why people are totally fine with being a wolf and betraying the town, but being coupled is a bridge too far. I don't think RNG is any more or less fair than what this meta game showed.I think ones that would affect someone else's win conditions complicates the ability to distribute roles anywhere near fairly.
Hmm, yeah, I see your point. It'd be good to know what team you're on before choosing a role. Maybe if there's a Cupid, that team gets chosen before everyone else chooses their role? I'm not sure if we'd want to do the same for instigator, since they already are guaranteed to have a mix of teams. It's not, I just think in the context of a game where absolutely everyone gets to pick a role as freely as possible, I think ones that would affect someone else's win conditions complicates the ability to distribute roles anywhere near fairly.![]()
I am truly curious what this even means lolOh it's not anger.
I keep receipts and I'm coming to collect, PIMI.

if you don't get slotted into the actual teams, you are not going to have 8 wolves, you are going to have 10 solo killers and 6 cupids.I have nothing of value to add to this discussion and skipped the last 2 pages, but I think it would be funny to do this again except everyone gets to pick any role regardless of balance just to see how insane it would be. Will it last more than a day, or will we have 8 wolves and immediately lose?
And then one shot takes out half the gameoh gosh, and then imagine if you are allowed to be on multiple cupid teams and can win on any of them.
Oh, that would be funny.Something else I thought would be fun: Wolves don't get a wolf chat. And they don't know who the other wolves are. They'd still get a vote for a night kill with all the same rule. Would take away a RRV and replace it with another wolf as compensation.
I actually think the wolves might play better, because there would be no explicit or implicit collusion for the wolves.
I'd play that game. It sounds chaotic and fun.oh gosh, and then imagine if you are allowed to be on multiple cupid teams and can win on any of them.
I'm skeptical it would help them, but it would be interesting.Something else I thought would be fun: Wolves don't get a wolf chat. And they don't know who the other wolves are. In this game at least Kut wouldn't have jumped in to try and claim bully when he did if he didn't know for sure Ben was another wolf.I'm skeptical it would help them, but it would be interesting
I would have stayed quiet to see what happenedIn this game at least Kut wouldn't have jumped in to try and claim bully when he did if he didn't know for sure Ben was another wolf.
I’m not 100% sure it would work if the wolves at the very least didn’t know each other. How many night phases would be lost to a non kill because there wasn’t a majority vote? I mean, it would prolong the game but I think a few roles would have to disappear for townies to make it fair for the wolves at that pointIn this game at least Kut wouldn't have jumped in to try and claim bully when he did if he didn't know for sure Ben was another wolf.
I think you have a point. If there is no wolf chat, the wolves should know who the other wolves are. Voting can go based off zell’s hierarchy… but there should be no seers because if the wolves cannot strategize, the town shouldn’t get free informationI’m not 100% sure it would work if the wolves at the very least didn’t know each other. To play/continuate off of this, I assume in a normal game there are a few vanilla townies who when they die don’t have a role announced. If the wolves kill a wolf, they get the same death announcement as a vanilla townie.I think a fun idea would be wolves can kill another wolf overnight. Imagine the chaos of the next day phase if a wolf died or how much it could throw townies off the trail.
I guess the spirit of this comes from many a night I played among us and you gave up an imposter to keep the scent off of you
Maybe one seer. Keep the room for people to argue over it.I think you have a point. If there is no wolf chat, the wolves should know who the other wolves are. I’d agree with this. One seer but maybe one or two less killing roles?Maybe one seer. Keep the room for people to argue over it.
I don't necessarily think I'm going to be playing again anytime soon, but it's fun to iterate on the game ideas and try to find ways to keep it balanced.
That's basically this; https://gwforums.com/threads/post-your-game-ideas.493/post-111377I’d be down for AI generated wolf rules for a game. Fuck it, let’s see the twists
