I wish I cared... it feels like one of those events like All-Star games that used to be must-watch because there was little access to it in the past. It was a special treat to see a team from across the country or international athletes. Now it's so commonplace to see everything it doesn't feel special to me, or anyone around me.
When a once in a generation athlete like Phelps, Bolt, or Bilas come around I'll tune in, otherwise it just doesn't interest me.
I don't know about him carrying the torch, but he did carry an NBC mic for an interview with Simone Biles' family. They also said there would be more Snoop on broadcasts.I forgot it was the year for the olympics.
But I did hear on the radio that Snoop Dogg carried the torch. That's pretty dope.
Bro probably thought it was a huge blunt.
Definitely this. I never give a crap about the opening ceremonies, but this was literal fire.Don't give a shit about the Olympics, but Gojira performing at the opening ceremony was kind of awesome tbh. Definitely a much heavier band than I would ever expect to play something like that.
I think everyone towers over Simone Biles, even toddlers. She's just always so shockingly small in interviews.I don't know about him carrying the torch, but he did carry an NBC mic for an interview with Simone Biles' family. They also said there would be more Snoop on broadcasts.
Snoop is surprisingly tall. I thought he was an average height, but he's apparently 6'4". He absolutely towered over everyone else on the screen, especially the Biles family members.
Gymnastics always seems to be the main show for the summer Olympics.Gymnastics is my favourite along with the diving.
I thought he won silveeMy YT feed is litered with images of the Turkish dude shooting with "no gear" and winning gold.
"But women who are awesome at what they do are totally scary and threatening!"So so frustrated. So many extra things women athletes have to go through that have nothing to do with the spor
You tell 'em!I normally don't respond to psycho shit posted by people I know on Facebook, but I couldn't help myself this time. They posted an AI pic of a woman in the ring against a literal demon.

Oh absolutely, it's happening more and more that cisgender women are being targeted because they don't "look" like women, whatever that means. Don't get wrong, I acknowledge that I look like a fucking monster, an absolute dumpster fire of a human being, but women come in all shapes and sizes. It's awful what's happening, and unfortunately, it's a consequence of transphobia running rampant and not just allowed, but encouraged.
It goes beyond trans people being targeted, but any woman who appears to be "suspect" based on gendered stereotypes of what people think a woman is.
Wouldn't surprise me if there were more rules put in place to bar any woman that is deemed suspicious based on those stereotypes. This bullshit needs to stop. We should be beyond this point now.
Hey, don't wanna be a jerk but can we not use that term? Been seeing it and the longer version cropping up a lot again on social media like it's acceptable again and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.SmackDown on that Tard.

100% this. It's a fuzzy area since we're referring to Kelly, aka Smackfellow, but in general it's not a word we want to see around the forum.Hey, don't wanna be a jerk but can we not use that term? Been seeing it and the longer version cropping up a lot again on social media like it's acceptable again and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
Or maybe I'm just being too sensitive?
Fair, I'll own up to having developed a bad habit of using that word. I really need to work on that.Hey, don't wanna be a jerk but can we not use that term? Been seeing it and the longer version cropping up a lot again on social media like it's acceptable again and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Should have changed it to “smack down on that smacktard”Post edited.
