The gunshot still echoed in the hills when someone noticed TD wasn't moving anymore. Smoke curled from the barrel in Quagmire's hand, steady now. There was no struggle. Just silence, and then the clink of glass on wood as the vials in TD's coat rolled loose.


One red.
One black.


"Alchemist," someone whispered.


An hour later, Christina collapsed mid-sentence, mouth foaming, eyes wide with recognition. She tried to speak — maybe a warning — but it caught in her throat.


The potion had found its mark.


Then came Zell, who didn't fall from violence or poison. Just silence. A breath stopped in mid-air. A connection severed.


The town stared, stunned.


But it wasn't over.


Vash was already walking toward them, as if pulled by some unseen weight. He reached the bodies, knelt down, and let out a long, quiet breath.


"Love," he said, "always takes the rest of you."


Then he was gone too.


Four gone. One bullet. One vial. One bond.


The town began to understand how quickly everything could fall apart.

Christina has died via the black potion of the alchemist. She was the Blind Wolf, and lover of...

Zell has died via heartbreak. Zell was an Aura Seer, and the other half of the couple.

VashTheStampede has died via... whatever. He was Cupid. Ewww.
