Some clarifications since I've been asked these things a few times:
Being jailed is like usual protection, where it only prevents regular wolf and SK attacks. Townies can still attack people in jail, and all other abilities would work as usual (avenger/avenger wolf can kill a jailed player, red lady can visit them, witch potions will work, etc.).
Roles that typically have an extra life now have two extra lives, resulting in three lives total.
Solo roles can kill each other in jail, even if they're both the same role.
Headhunter targets are not evil roles, but they may not be town. It's possible they are a fool or headhunter instead.
