When I tried to roll him last night thinking I was clever, he just told me he's got Never Gonna Give You Up on a playlist voluntarily, so he does it to himself.

This just further cemented my selecting Firefox over Chrome, as by default Firefox will block auto-play on the video unless you add "&mute=1" into the URL, which of course isn't helpful at all for a Rick Roll.



Chrome seems to have autoplay turned on by default, needing to be toggled off.

I use Firefox as well. Oddly it plays the music on the all posts tab but the video doesn't show as having started on the rickroll thread.

Yup, just tried it again. My settings are to block autoplay with sound for this website, but Rick is happily singing in the other tab. Meanwhile the video shows as if it never started.

Nothing plays on my phone. I assumed just linking to the video was the intent of the post… testing to see if people would click on any thread
