So that the last thing in here isn't just me in a pimp coat...
I got the parental "kid informs you of school project the night before it's due" thing.
Kindergarten sent home a packet weeks ago about a "Vocabulary Parade" they were doing off of some book they're reading. I didn't notice said packet in my daughters backpack, nor did she mention it. Not until I got the "are you coming to the parade?" sheet to sign.
Basically she needed a costume conveying one of the 100 words they gave, like 'appendage' and 'threefold'.
I went with 'outskirts', and after a run to Walmart and a few hours sewing ribbon into straps, I put skirts on the outskirts of a costume.

I added another two signs since taking the picture, so the skirts won't move about as much.
I think I did pretty good for short notice.
