I just can’t do that kinda weight shifting and pivoting necessary to skate, snowboard, or anything like that anymore. We’ll see what happens when I start replacing factory parts.

I truly hope everyone had a good day.

I'm over here losing my shit because my partner and 2 year old just tested positive for COVID, after my oldest son and his mom have been here visiting for 2 days.

So I'm feeling depressed because we've likely ruined their plans to fly to Florida in 2 days to see his grandma and go to Universal, frustrated because the one week I took off from work thinking kids would be in daycare and I'd actually get to decompress they'll instead be home sick, and anxious because I tested negative so I'll more than likely get sick once they're on the mend, but I'll have to deal with it while working and can't suddenly extend my PTO.

So... Fuck it all.

Happy holidays all. I was able to celebrate Christmas with my family, nieces, nephews, etc. It was a great time. However, one of my family members hid that she was sick because she didn't want to miss Christmas. Turned out she had COVID and spread it to everyone including my rapidly declining grandmother.

So we made it through Christmas morning before I got hit with it. It's been four days of misery since then. My wife had it three weeks ago, she seems fine. My two daughters are positive right now but not bad. This is my first time having it and I've been running a 102 temp the whole time and sore throat/back. Luckily I had the week off from work so I've been marathoning Simpsons, King of the Hill, but I also took this week off to do fun things with my family. So I'm upset at the same time. I'm just now in a spot to browse my phone without pain/being too stuffy to breathe.

I'm in the same boat, but I think my son just got it from daycare the Friday when everyone came up. Someone hiding it from family is faaaaaar worse.

Big sympathy, my dude. I hope you're all over the worst of it.

That's absolutely atrocious of her! I'm sorry you and your girls caught it. Here's hoping the recovery will be a short one from here on!
