If you've ever played a wolf or mafia game before it's easier to explain. If not...

- You have two teams, the good guys and the bad guys (typically 20-25% are bad), sometimes there's a solo player
- The good guys are trying to kill all the bad guys
- The bad guys are trying to bring the good guys numbers to match their own
- The game is divided into Day Phases and Night Phases
- Day phases consist of voting for someone suspicious, in this iteration it puts them on trial, in others, it kills them
- Night phases will consist of the bad guys trying to kill a good guy and other roles have special abilities they can use such as protect someone, find out someone's roles, etc.

It's a game of social deduction.
There's more intracies but it's the closest to cliffs notes I got for ya.
