When I got home from work, I was still super fucking dejected. And tired, 'cause lolFriday.

Like... I was going to go through the motions, the things I'm casually doing right now, and try to piece something together. Same as I always do. While waiting for the Illusionist to act. Seeing if the town would pound out theories or anything.

There were two people that would have shown up as Illusionist yesterday. One of them was always going to be real, and the other was always going to be fake. The town - @Benzine - did an excellent job outlining the order of operations and how, if Benzine's claim was to be believed, Local was not the true Illusionist. ...The kill never came. My Spell can be placed on them and work literal seconds before the cutoff period. And yet, nothing.

If TD was the Illusionist, he declined to kill yesterday.

Or, he couldn't because he tried to target Local the night before, but Local was stuck in jail and protected. 1 Illusionist kill day 1, none day 2 because no one could be, 1 day 3 but by the marksman.

@shortkut I would avenger TD because he's the illusionist and is now a zombie illusionist.

I explained why td would not have killed as the illusionist yesterday. It verifies he’s the only one.

You have decided to bring him back. If I was wrong and the illusionist is someone like Vash, Dean, or Alu, we were in trouble anyway. But if it was TD, and it seems most likely he was, you have lost us the game. I think you had way better choices.

Since I’m so confident it’s td I am going vote Td.

I’ve now lost interest, I don’t see how the town kill 1 or 2 wolves and the fkn illusionist (who through your actions is definitely alive). Kill me at your leisure.

In a bubble, yes. Smacktard has been... I struggle to think of something that doesn't sound bad here. But he's been tilted, and fishing super hard, and I just don't think it jives.

Ben imprisoning Local was not a particularly hard to guess scenario. And by your own admission, people that expect others to play roles within roles is fairly low.

No, the game was already lost for the town. I'm investing a ludicrous amount of time and energy into trying to make and keep the game competitive, 'cause I find that to be fun and good lord was the town hellbent on destroying itself.

If anything, the wolves probably went too hard yesterday trying to clinch it by killing the Illusionist during the day.

I haven't gotten that far yet, but I will.

This is what the town was up against, for the record. This is 2 confirmed wolves spinning yarn.

If you aren't willing to play that hard, you'll literally never win as the wolves in this gametype. And in this game specifically, if you aren't willing to play that hard as the town on more even footing - if you can't just meme your way to guaranteed victory, in... somewhat less delicate terms - you aren't going to win with this level of fuckery.

People like TD and even the host are flabbergasted at what's going on here. If you're doing anything besides having fun and being confused 7 ways to fucking Sunday: Pause. Take a breath. This is a game. Getting tilted isn't healthy.

But, I'm not going to act the way you want me to act just because that makes it easier for you to win. :rofl

By the way if this was a real post I would fully expect 6 pages arguing over whether the spirit seer meant "Blue" as in "good" or "SUS" as in bad. And the spirit seer would disappear for 4 hours and come back and wonder why the thread was so long.

I don’t think it’s fair that you get to frame what having fun is for people, or any comment like that. If someone thinks you basically thrown the game they’re trying to enjoy, they’re entitled to feel however they want. If this game is for you to piss around at other peoples effort and expense, that’s cool.

I’m sure your smart enough to see how this looks from my perspective. I’ve just tried just tried super hard to get the (potential, to be fair the illusionist may have been someone else still alive) biggest game threat removed to wake up to them brought back to life but one of the only verifiable good guys.

But since I’m not here to play your version of fun, fuck me I guess?

And now people know for certain that an illusionist would still be alive (either were alive already still or have just been brought alive), and want to go for a wolf (which is fine) rather than eliminate an entire kill. If there are two wolves alive then we see the deaths tonight.

So excuse me if I lose a bit of interest.

I'd say Raine is "throwing the game" as much as I was with my "Tommy as Avatar of Love" gambit.

It's a high-risk high-reward play. Don't think I would have done it in her shoes in this specific situation, but I have access to different information than her and, as stated above, I've done similar.
