I think Jawneh said he dislikes day one lynches due to the statistics, which admittedly, I don't know those numbers.

The numbers were fairly close, but still an advantage to the town. Granted it was in that specific case with just wolf kills I think. IIRC, it was less than a 5% difference with advantage to the town in terms of finding a wolf, but the wolves also did not get an advantage over the town in numbers (as you went from even number of townies to odd, so town still was in the same situation in terms of losing). If we lynch on every day, except the first day in one of the examples, the game was due to end on the same day in both cases barring any shenanigans.

Kind of the conclusion is, lynching day one with fairly vanilla lynching and baddie kill day 1 is 4/16 to get a baddie where as tomorrow in the worse case it's 4/15. That's the difference.
