Happy AnniversaryLol, 12 years ago on April fools Day I got married.
...I guess the prank was on me.
One time I spent about 9 months convincing this community of aging-gamers I'd been part of as a teenager that I'd changed my ways and was no longer a huge asshole, just so that they'd trust me with administrative permissions again and I could begin the cycle of power abuse once more.
April fools.
Okay, just a little power abuse...

...I guess the prank was on me.
One time on an April 1st, I got suspended from a shitty jobsellingdoing customer service for dick pills* because of my attendance (kid was always making me late.)
They sat me in a conference room and had the team lead tell me. I then for some reason told her "hah, missed opportunity to tell me I was fired for April Fools."
She left to tell her boss, then came back and just fired me. Whoopsie.
*direct marketing company that sold natural supplements. Memory supplements for old people, weight loss stuff, and of course penis growth/performance supplements advertised in porn mags. I was terrible at selling since I knew it was bullshit, but CS wasn't much better since you had to convince people not to return a bullshit product.
I started writing about why I got kicked out of my university hall, but decided that I best not, even though I didn't do the bad thing.
Congratulations, and condolences on the grays. You’re outnumbered, if they haven’t turned yet, they will.
I only notice it when I don't shave for a few days. My hair has some gray, but its not too noticeable. But when my facial hair goes beyond 5 o clock shadow it gets gray fast. My wife has a thing for Patrick Dempsey types - silver foxes if you will - so she is fine with it.
After I posted, my daughter got us both with an official looking disciplinary form from school that the principal gave out to students. Basically a letter saying her and her group at the lunch table were disrespectful and cannot return to school without a parent conference.
Flipped it over to sign it, and it said "please sign here to accept that you were just pranked for April Fool's Day" in small wording above a typical parent signature line.
I went from furious to chasing my daughter and tackling her and tickling her until she couldn't breathe. I have to get her next year now.
Convincing? Who says it wasn’t just a scheme to drum up more activity? It’s also not an abuse of power if name changes for him are part of the gig… you’re just doing your doody at that point.
