Hmm.

The fact that it was released for a version of the SNES by  Nintendo themselves I think makes a good argument. The game was developed and completed during the original life cycle of the system as well, even if it didn't see release.

I think its kosher, a super special case.

It's pretty cool, based on the TTRPG.

The Genesis version was a completely separate (and IMO superior) take on the property, which I thought was pretty cool.

It's basically cyberpunk + Tolkien
