I'm sad this morning. The mini-crossword was my favorite NYT game; I looked forward to playing it every day. And it was always free, but now suddenly I have to buy a subscription

The cryptic was one where I needed one specific clue but I didn't realize which one until it was too late, so I took 3 of them and knew two of them in advance.

Haha I think I did the bottom part before realizing I would need most of the pieces I used there for the top. I probably should have taken a little time to plan before just attacking it.
