Guess I'll check out the shop since I'm more of less guaranteed to pass that. Theeeeen if I get there I'm going to try to jump the two cactii, so I guess that's 2 d20 rolls after if I get more than 6?

You keep going. Everything generally works the same as Mario Party 3. I just ask beforehand because sometimes people don't roll high enough and the stock changes depending on placement/turn number/which shop you get.

You walk into a darker shop and hear a little growl. Sitting behind the counter is Baby Bowser.
"Hey squirt, welcome to Baby Bowser's Joint! Hurry up and buy somethin'!"

Skeleton Key* - 5 coins: Allows you to go through one gate.
Reverse Mushroom - 5 coins: Choose yourself or another player. When rolling their dice, the target must move backwards instead, but can choose any direction other than the one they came from at junctions. Stacks with poison.
Plunder Chest - 10 coins: Steal a random item from a player of your choice.
Bowser Phone - 10 coins: Call Bowser on the phone and choose a player to pose as, including yourself. You can also leave it to random chance if you like. Whoever is chosen receives a visit from Bowser as if they had landed on a Bowser Space.
Lucky Lamp - 10 coins: Call on the Mushroom Jeanie to move the star to a new location on the board
Boo Bell - 15 coins: Call on Boo to steal coins or a star from other players for a price.
Item Bag - 30 coins: Receive 3 random items immediately when bought.

You're welcome to change what you want to do after buying something if you want, especially since you didn't roll any cactus dice yet. I should mention if you're jumping both cacti in hopes of reaching the western star, that path on the other side only goes up so you'd skip it and be on the inside part. You'd need to roll big with a reverse shroom or something to make it to the outer path from there. Here are all the different spots you can land:

Word, thanks for the recap. I did think the path across the cacti went down as well as up.

I'll buy the Boo Bell and then run into the first cactus, I guess, putting me over to the right then I'll go down to Goomba. Looks like Nae has no coins so I guess I shouldn't expect him to grab that star.

Toad buys a boo bell for 15 coins, does all that stuff, then lands next to Goomba.
The battle goomba descends to greet you, ready to start a duel, but stops.
"Oh wait, my bad, Goomba doesn't have any coins to wager... I'll just be on my way then."
He starts to float off, but drops to the ground.
"SIKE! It's time for another Battle Game! What will you all be pitching in this time?"
The coin wheel is spun, and lands on...
"20 coins! Pay up!"
He takes 20 coins from everyone, leaving you with this (Ignore the placements):

How to Play
It's a rock, paper, scissors tournament! But what makes it extreme you may ask? Instead of 3 options, there will be 101. And the one you choose will be locked in for the entire tournament unless two people choose the same one. In the rare event of a tie, those two players will play the classic version.

Everyone will choose one of the options from https://www.umop.com/rps101/alloutcomes.htm and PM me their choice. (If anyone can't or doesn't want to access this random ass site I found from googling "100 rock paper scissors", send me something you think might be on the list and I'll either pick something similar or randomize your choice. Choices on the list range from things like simple inanimate objects to abstract concepts and fantasy creatures). Also, I didn't really read over these in depth, so if there's anything weird or uncool in there pretend it's not lol. Just using it for the sheer variety and thought it was interesting that it even exists.
