I get creative. I’ve been known to take members and lock them in one forum, letting them keep each other company.

Were you around for the “The Idiot Box” era? The name was inspired by @Disgustipated introducing me to Shadows Fall around the time, and I basically “banned” members by only allowing them to post in that specific forum. I think at some point… it was even IN the recycle bin forum of wherever I implemented it.
