This is a fair view of it as well, but I actually like the way it worked and how it integrated a story into it (also boss races oddly enough). For me it worked well, but I can see why some people would think "get this story and open world out of my racing game!"

There are a couple of other racing games I would be happy with to be on the lists.

It might have been fun and awesome, to be honest I didn't give it much of a try. I did it for a little bit and then was like "this is just too weird for me". lol

There was quite a bit of a difficulty hit for Diddy for some of the boss races. Even some of the tracks getting all the coins before winning wasn't that easy, from what I remember.

I know of a few that are probably less common or popular so are likely to still be available on my next turns, but they're still super awesome.

Diddy Kong Racing was gonna be my next one dammit Loved it as a kid because not only could you drive other vehicles, but you could have hybrid races between people using different ones.

Too hard for my baby brain though. Highly recommend the 3DS remake. Seems like they made it handle much better because I was able to beat it, plus they added a cool custom track feature. Wish we could get a sequel.

It's a series that has high highs and low lows. And Twilight Princess.

A truly sublime game. Had a lot of fun with this busting for those perfect scores. Also, day 1 first party game that’s not Mario 64.

If you were like me, you held on throughout the whole game hoping you would eventually enjoy it. The Sand Temple was pretty dope though.

Bomberman 64 is one of the greatest games on the system. Single player campaign is deep, fun, and challenging, with some epic boss fights, and the multiplayer is hilarious and chaotic while still innovating on the Bomberman formula. I don't even really LIKE Bomberman. But I LOVE Bomberman 64.

Oh yeah, Arbiter's Grounds, right? I think I remember the boss fight being pretty epic too.

I remember having some very good times playing the multiplayer for Bomberman 64 at a friend's house, hilarious and chaotic for sure.
